Text PACK. Hand your accountant everything.
The Accountant Pack turns what you’ve logged in GraftG into one tidy ZIP your accountant can work from directly — a P&L summary plus income, expenses, mileage, CIS, quotes and diary files. Everything is in pounds with UK dates and opens cleanly in Excel. With Making Tax Digital for Income Tax rolling out (quarterly digital updates are already mandatory for sole traders earning £50k+, and the £30k+ group joins from April 2027), importing a pack like this is a valid digital link — your accountant files with their own MTD software, using your GraftG records.
Text PACK for this month, or PACK WEEK, PACK QUARTER, PACK YEAR — put LAST in front for the previous one (PACK LAST QUARTER). Quarters follow the MTD boundaries (6 April, 6 July, 6 October, 6 January). The ZIP arrives in WhatsApp in seconds.
A P&L summary PDF, plus CSVs for income (with VAT and CIS per invoice), expenses (each mapped to an indicative SA103 self-assessment box, with links to your receipt photos), mileage (45p/25p with the 10,000-mile threshold tracked), CIS both directions, quotes and diary — and a plain-English README explaining every file.
On Pro, add your accountant’s email on the Exports page at app.graftg.co.uk and PACK emails them a copy automatically — or tick the box to send last month’s pack on the 1st of every month without lifting a finger.
Need an odd period — a VAT stagger, or “since I started”? The Exports page has a custom from/to picker with the same one-click download.
PACKPACK QUARTERPACK LAST QUARTERMTD EXPORTNo — and that’s deliberate. GraftG keeps your digital records and exports them accountant-ready; your accountant (or your own MTD software) does the filing. The pack’s figures are your own records, not tax advice.
An indicative mapping from GraftG’s receipt categories to the self-assessment expense boxes (materials → cost of goods, fuel → travel, and so on). It gives your accountant a head start — they can reallocate anything.
Every paid plan can text PACK and download packs from the Exports page. Emailing packs directly to your accountant — including the automatic monthly send — is a Pro feature.
Those are HMRC’s standard MTD update periods, which follow the tax year (6 April). If you’ve elected calendar quarters with HMRC, tick “use calendar quarters” on the Exports page and PACK QUARTER follows suit.
